The horror genre has a unique talent for leaving unforgettable impressions, and it's the portrayal of eerie characters, often thanks to the inclusion of creepy child actors who can send shivers down your spine, that sticks with viewers the most.

From the recent cult horror Hereditary to old guard classics like The Shining, here are the creepy kids of horror and what they are doing after their breakout roles.

Milly Shapiro (Hereditary)

Milly Shapiro's unforgettable performance in Ari Aster's disturbing psychological supernatural horror as Charlie Graham, the troubled and unsettling young girl with a penchant for making eerie clicking noises, marked her as a rising star in the horror genre.

Shapiro's debut was met with critical acclaim, and she has since continued to pursue her passion for acting, starring in shows such as Splitting Up Together and the animated series JJ Villard's Fairy Tales.
