Craziest Theories On How Marvel Is Going To Introduce Mutants To The Universe

After Disney acquired FOX, the debut of mutants in the MCU was only a matter of time. X-Men are, of course, among the most expected mutants.

It's indeed a tricky question of how Marvel is going to handle this, as it is unclear why mutants have never appeared while the Earth was in danger so many times.

Let's remember which mutants Marvel has already introduced.

Kamala Khan aka Ms. Marvel was confirmed to bear mutated genes in her solo Disney Plus TV show. The same way Namor was confirmed to be a mutant in Black Panther: Wakanda Forever.

One uncertain mutant is Scarlet Witch. It was not officially revealed, but WandaVision hinted that she was born with her powers that were later discovered at full extent when she was exposed to the Mind Stone.

One theory of how the mutants might be introduced and where they have been this whole time revolves just around Scarlet Witch. As we know, Wanda was kept by Hydra for quite some time.

The theory suggests that Hydra, using the Mind Stone, might have manipulated Wanda into imprisoning all the mutants in a fake reality like she did with Westview.

After that, her memory was erased. So now, when Wanda is gone, the mutants can escape.

Another theory is that during the Multiverse saga — Avengers: The Kang Dynasty and Avengers: Secret Wars in particular, — many universes will be destroyed, and mutants from different versions of the main universe will need a new home.

But some people seek to find answers in the mutants-related upcoming projects.

With both Deadpool 3 and 90s X-Men: The Animated Series revival being a part of the MCU, some fans consider these projects to be the best opportunity to somehow include X-Men in the main universe.

The possibilities are literally endless.

Whatever way Marvel chooses for introducing X-Men and other mutants in the MCU, fans hope it will be smooth and natural, given how many events are happening in the franchise at the same time.
