Cole Sprouse Spills the Tea on His Disney Past (And It Gets Bizarre Real Quick)
Cole Sprouse, 30, is apparently not a man to shy away from expressing his truth out loud.
The actor recently went on to Call Her Daddy video podcast (hosted by Alex Cooper) to talk about his twin brother Dylan, his love life, as well as his past Disney experience.
Cringe-worthy at times, the podcast show stirred some controversy, and revealed some painful truths.
But first things first. In the very beginning of the interview Sprouse lights up a cigarette indoors, and Twitter immediately had something to say about it.
Cole Sprouse shared some of his thoughts on his and his brother's time at Disney.
To refresh your memory, Sprouse starred alongside his twin brother Dylan in hit Disney series Suite Life Of Zach and Cody (2005-2008).
After that, the actor went quiet for some time, before landing the role of Jughead Jones on Riverdale ( series to end this year with seventh season), which reinvigorated his career and revamped his fame.
According to Cole, The Suite Life saved his and his brother's life. It was a "golden ticket" financially for their family, so that twins could put bread on the table.
In the podcast Cole also revealed that his mother has had "addiction and mental instability" issues.
Despite the fact that the interview ultimately brought up tough topics, fans quickly turned the whole thing into a meme.
The interview then took Sprouse to weirder places, as he recalled losing his virginity to a stranger at the age of 14. Cole's twin brother Dylan didn't go unmentioned either, as the actor said his brother was a "bully" in school.
His relationship with Riverdale co-star Lili Reinhart, which started in 2017 and came to a close in 2020, was of course also discussed.
As it turned out (that is, when Alex Cooper pressed Sprouse to reveal that) they both did some "damage" to each other, and it was Sprouse who eventually called it quits with Reinhart. Don't worry, they are "friends now."
