Chris Evans Gets Candid About All The Fanservice in Avengers: Endgame
We savored every single moment.
Despite the fact that Avengers: Endgame has hit the screens more than 4 years ago now, many fans are still in a state of disbelief that they will never see the team (as they love and know it) take on another adventure and save the world one more time. If Marvel had a goal of building up a universe around that team, they did the job perfectly.
However, now fans are left to wonder, what is next for the world they carry so much love for?
If that makes you feel any better, the journey of filming Endgame was just as emotional and hard for the actors, as the finished movie was for the viewers to watch.
The only difference is, that the cast had to spend months upon months on rehearsals, and then actual shooting, before finally saying their goodbyes.
In the latest interview with GQ, where Chris Evans was breaking down his most iconic roles, the actor spoke very fondly of his experience as Captain America in general, and in particular while working on the final movie.
And, yes, the actor gave away what we already guessed, Avengers: Endgame from the beginning to the very end was made with fans in mind.
“There are a lot of fun moments in Avengers: Endgame because there are a lot of moments that are servicing the fandom. <...> I, obviously, really like the scene where I pick up Mjolnir for the first time. It just felt good. Most of the scenes in Endgame, you’re just fully aware of what you got to be a part of,” the actor revealed.
Evans later went on to note how everybody was very grateful for the experience they got throughout each of their solo or joint Marvel movies, but Endgame truly hit differently, as it was the last one for many to appear in.
The feeling of gratitude, respect, and dedication to the characters to the very last bit definitely conveyed to fans through screens.
If you feel like reliving the emotional journey that Avengers: Endgame was, you can go ahead and stream the film on Disney Plus.
