CBS Has Fans Up in Arms as So Help Me Todd Repeats NCIS: Hawaii's Ugly Fate
Not the best times are definitely in order for the network.
Summary:
- One of CBS’ recently canceled shows So Help Me Todd is officially over with a major cliffhanger appearing in the finale, the path that was previously followed by the network’s other scrapped series.
- NCIS ’ spinoff NCIS: Hawai’i also got ditched by CBS earlier this year with the final episode’s cliffhanger leading straight to the show’s next season.
- Despite the fact that both series ended in the same way, So Help Me Todd still has a far worse position than NCIS: Hawai’i.
Another big scandal may be already on its way to CBS as the channel keeps canceling fan-favorite shows right in the middle of the whole action.
A massive online protest was started several weeks ago when CBS announced that there would be no more seasons for So Help Me Todd, and numerous fans were quick to take to social media discussing how they could potentially bring the high-rated show back.
Such a proactive position resulted in a whole new trend’s appearance that was quickly picked up by the lovers of NCIS: Hawai’i which also got canceled not a long time ago. Now it seems like both shows’ fandom have indeed been keeping the same position in their fight with CBS with So Help Me Todd’s season 2 finale going down the very same road that NCIS: Hawai’i did before.
The show’s final episode aired on May 16 leaving fans even more bewildered than before. The storyline at this point ends with a major cliffhanger that surely was supposed to define the whole plot for the third season that now has low chances to ever happen.
Spoiler alert for So Help Me Todd season 2 finale!
So Help Me Todd’s season 2 ends with the arrival of Margaret’s law firm partner Merritt Folding bringing in a lot of trouble for Margaret herself who would later on be arrested for crimes that she didn’t commit.
So Help Me Todd’s cancellation news is what will most likely resurface in the social media today as the show has clearly followed the suit of CBS’ other canceled series, NCIS: Hawai’i.
The latter got scrapped by the network at around the same time as So Help Me Todd and thus was also left with no other choice but to air what was left from the season with a big cliffhanger prepared for the next season.
With both shows ending on the same and not very promising note, things look a bit better for NCIS: Hawai’i that can still take advantage of the whole franchise’s main series while So Help Me Todd has nothing else to go to.
