Once again, the actor plays an extremely ambiguous character.

Bryan Cranston is an actor who has deservedly become the main star of television in the 2000s and 2010s. The chemistry teacher Walter White from Breaking Bad was a complex, contradictory and deeply tragic antihero, brilliantly played by Cranston, who loves to try out the images of broken loners at the crossroads between good and evil.

Today, it is almost impossible to find a review of a project with Cranston that does not draw analogies to Breaking Bad. In the case of Your Honor, the comparison is most justified – here, the actor portrayed a decent man at the intersection of complex moral dilemmas: a respected New Orleans judge is forced to break the law to help his son.

Cranston has repeatedly admitted that he is always drawn to characters who are constantly challenged by fate. Along with the portrayal of Walter White, Judge Michael Desiato confirmed the actor's status as a leading man on modern television.

And recently, two seasons of Your Honor have become available on Netflix.

What is Your Honor About?

Honest and fair Judge Michael Desiato is faced with a difficult moral decision: to cover up for his son Adam, who ran over a man with his car and fled the scene.

At first, Michael wants to go to the police station and confess, but he changes his mind when he learns that the victim was the child of local mobster Jimmy Baxter. This means that even in prison, Adam will not be safe: in the criminal world, there is only one law – an eye for an eye.

Michael's attempts to cover up the crime only make matters worse. For the first time in his life, the judge not only becomes involved in corruption schemes and falsifying evidence, but also becomes an accomplice to new crimes.

This series is more than a crime drama. It's about multifaceted but unconditional parental love and what people are willing to do to save their children. It doesn't matter if you're an upstanding judge or a local mobster. And Your Honor shows that sometimes the right choice just doesn't exist.
