Bromance is Real: See The Boys' Jack Quaid And Karl Urban As Iconic Killers
The actors playing Hughie and Butcher in The Boys have chosen somewhat matching costumes for Halloween this year.
Well, they both dressed up as classic horror movie maniacs, Jason Voorhees from Friday the 13th and Alex from A Clockwork Orange.
The cast of The Boys which is currently filming in Toronto had a lot of fun at their Halloween party quickly dubbed 'Herogasm' by fans, according to the photos The Boys stars published on their Instagram accounts.
Jack Quaid and Karl Urban have also pleased their fans with some photos from the party. In the photos, the co-stars are seen striking a pose in their Halloween costumes. Both Urban and Quaid have chosen classy killer costumes for Halloween this year.
Jack Quaid's choice fell on Jason Voorhees, a serial killer from the Friday the 13th series. The character is known for wearing a hockey mask to cover his deformities and intimidate his enemies. For Jack, portraying a masked slasher is not something new since he played Ghostface in this year's Scream. Along with a photo of Urban and him, Quaid posted two short videos of him happily and a bit awkwardly dancing in his Friday the 13th mask with a blade in hand.
"Ghostface dressed as Jason dancing like Leatherface," one commenter wrote under the post.
Karl Urban has decided to dress up as Alex, a young sociopath from A Clockwork Orange who commits crimes for his own amusement. Alex is famous for his slang, Nadsat, composed of Slavic languages, English, and Cockney, so basically with Butcher's famous Cockney accent Karl Urban got this covered. Judging by the photos and videos, the fan-favorite on-screen duo was genuinely enjoying The Boys Halloween party.
Other cast members of the Amazon Prime Video show have also slayed the party with their Halloween costumes. Karen Fukuhara known for her portrayal of Kimiko in The Boys played a little guessing game with her fans asking them to figure out who Claudia Doumit playing Victoria Neuman and she were dressed as. Though some witty fans thought that they kinda looked like Karl Urban, the right answer was the 'It's Morbin Time' meme, which the actresses definitely pulled off.
"Your beard remains my favourite!" Elliot Knight commented under the photo.
