Who Will Bridgerton Season 4 Be About?

The success of season 2 earned the show a two-year renewal, so there is no doubt that season 4 is coming. Only two questions remain: when will it happen, and who will steal the spotlight in the end?

The majority of viewers believe that season 4 will tell the story of either Benedict or Eloise Bridgerton. Looking at Luke Thompson's latest interview, the first option looks more promising.

Speaking to The Guardian, the actor teased a very special dance scene for Benedict in season 3:

“I have to be careful with spoilers or I'll get arrested, but I get a nice dancing moment this season. It's fascinating when you understand these dances as basically like a dating app. They get people to speak, touch, be close – then literally swipe to the next row,” he said.

In Benedict's book, An Offer from a Gentleman, he met his special someone at his mother's masquerade ball. Since the lady's face was covered, he could only remember her silver dress and a dance they shared before she disappeared into the night.

Many fans of Bridgerton in general, and Benedict in particular, tend to believe that season 3 will include at least a glimpse of the aforementioned ball, and that this is the dance sequence the actor was referring to. Whether that's true or not won't be known until season 3 is officially released.

Bridgerton's upcoming season will premiere on Netflix in two separate parts. The first 4 episodes of Colin Bridgerton and Penelope Featherington's love story will be released on May 16, and the next episode will be released a month later on June 13.
