Bridgerton is currently enjoying its peak moment on Netflix, with not only the original show bathing in fan love but also a spinoff about Queen Charlotte causing a lot of buzz in the fandom.
After ITV's This Morning show revealed a glimpse at some of the new season's outfits and characters, many fans started to think that this may indicate that Bridgerton season 3 might arrive sooner than many people believed.
"[Queen Charlotte] could be released after as a sort of spin off of S3 because if you really think about it there hasn't been as much to do with the Queen and King's relationship in past seasons to warrant a series dedicated to it, but we could explore their relationship in depth in S3 and then have QC as a spinoff of that to explain more," Redditor mae_christian suggested.
While this may sound hopeful, it's too soon to get hyped for the early release of Bridgerton season 3. Recently, The Daily Mail has reported that the shooting for the third chapter has been delayed due to an axed storyline.
With the exact premiere date for Bridgerton season 3 still unclear, there is now a chance it might get pushed even further due to production delays. So no matter how badly we want the early release theory to be true, it's unlikely to happen. Moreover, fans fear that instead of a spring or a summer release, the fandom might as well brace itself for an early fall premiere.
However, fans do believe that Queen Charlotte will arrive earlier than season 3 so that the long wait will be less excruciating. Still, the premiere date for the spinoff also remains a secret as of now.
