Bridgerton Fans Are Up For A Love Triangle In S3, But There's A Catch

At this point, it's safe to say that the Bridgerton fandom is buzzing with anticipation for what Season 3 of the show has in store for them.

Now that the main couple that the season will focus on has been established, fans are trying to figure out all the other questions that come to mind.

What differences will there be from the book? Who will be involved in making #Polin happen? Will we see Kate and Anthony from season 2 enjoying the domestic bliss they deserve?

And most importantly, will there be another love triangle this season or will the writers take a different approach?

Even though it's been used two seasons in a row, fans don't seem to mind too much. Sure, the twists can get a little repetitive, but it adds just enough spice to the story to make it more complicated.

Besides, in both previous couples, the triangle was set up by the circumstances that the characters ended up in.

This time, however, there is a condition that must be met in order to win the viewer's approval. Some fans even go as far as saying that if it would be done in any other manner, they'd consider dropping the series as a whole.

The third person who comes between Colin and Penelope has to be connected to her.

If there's one thing fans definitely don't want to see, it's another love interest for Colin. Even if she's nice and charming, even if it's just a fling to further inflame his insecurities about Penelope and add drama based on that, the audience would much rather see her get a deserving suitor.

Not only would that be a nice nod to season 1, where it was Daphne who almost got married to someone other than Simon, but it would also do Penelope's character some justice, fans believe.

Whether the fans' expectations will be fulfilled or completely ruined, we will have to wait and see.
