Bridgerton Fans Already Think They Know the Main Couple of Season 4
Netflix better release season 3 sooner than later for their own good.
The passion the Bridgerton fandom has for the upcoming season 3 of the show is not surprising.
Many fans are eager to see how Shondaland explores the story of fan-favorite couple Penelope Featherington and Colin Bridgerton, so they can't wait to at least know a release date to start the countdown.
For all we know today, the filming process is complete, as is the editing process, as was recently confirmed by Shonda Rhimes herself.
She teased the audience by saying that she's having a lot of fun working on the final cuts, but the audience can't return the sentiment. This waiting game has already exhausted more than half of the fandom.
The news of Queen Charlotte's imminent release does not help either.
As much as the audience is excited to get a little more insight into the Bridgerton world and see some of the royal drama, nothing will top the comeback of the favorites.
The Queen Charlotte spin-off series of Bridgerton is set to land on Netflix on May 4, 2023.
This date alone makes the fanbase wonder how much longer Netflix will postpone the release of Bridgerton season 3 in order not to put both shows too close to each other.
Bored and obviously tired of waiting, Bridgerton fans are turning back to the original source of information in the form of the books and trying to make their theories about season 4 instead.
It's hard to say right now because season 3 can set up a backstory for anyone to be the main couple in season 4, but in the opinion of the fanbase, there are only two pretty strong contenders.
Benedict and Sophie vs. Eloise and Phillip, with both couples having a lot of fans and an equal chance to be adopted.
In a perfect reality, viewers agree that they would prefer to see Benedict and Sophie's story adapted first, for season 4, and then Eloise and Philip's later, for season 5.
However, given the state of the entertainment industry, that may just be wishful thinking. Without Bridgerton season 3 proving the success of the series once again, there could be no further development at all.
If you can't wait for Bridgerton season 3 to air, you can spend some time rewatching the previous episodes on Netflix.
