After the emotional episode 7, we will have to wait until July 11 until 'Better Call Saul' returns to screens.
The mid-season finale of 'Better Call Saul ' has turned out to be quite an emotional rollercoaster for fans, and it's interesting how things organically led to the shocking outcome despite not being initially led to it.

'Plan and Execution' led the viewers through the canny scheme that Jimmy and Kim came up with to trick Howard Hamlin – and it all goes perfectly until the plan escalates into a tragic confrontation between Lalo and Howard, which results in the latter's shocking death.
According to the show's writer and director Tom Schnauz, there was simply no better way for the story to develop.
"The more we talked about it, it just felt like the two worlds coming together at this moment — Howard coming to confront them and then Lalo coming to use Jimmy and Kim for his next step to get to Gus and the SuperLab — was right," Schnauz told The Hollywood Reporter in an interview. "How that balance works out, there's no magic formula. We just break the story, plot it out and those two separate storylines came together when they did."
He revealed that there were in fact other scenarios: for example, the creators were considering Kim getting disbarred or something going wrong with their plan, but in the end, the Howard vs. Lalo conclusion felt just right.
"We work on these stories for so long and so many days and we go down so many different roads that it's hard to say when it felt like we were on the right road. We just go piece by piece. The characters take us where we want to go," Schnauz explained.
The jaw-dropping mid-season finale left fans stunned, but in a good way, with people flocking to Twitter to let it all out. They will have until July 11 to process things and get ready six more episodes of 'Better Call Saul'. Given that season 6 brings the show to an end, fans might have to brace themselves for an even more emotional finale.
