The far, far away galaxy is coming closer to the fans who’ll get to see it all on big screens again.
Summary:
- Star Wars ’ universe will be back to the theaters on May 4 with a huge marathon that includes all the movies of the famous saga.
- The ones that will choose to participate in the marathon will get an exclusive sneak peek of the new show Acolyte and a limited edition poster.
- All the Star Wars’ films can also be watched separately from the marathon, but exclusively on May 4.
Big news for those who follow the famous long-lasting Star Wars franchise as all the films are heading back to theaters this May — right on May 4th aka official Star Wars Day.
Seems like it’s going to be a big year for the franchise full of celebrated significant milestones: initially only Star Wars. Episode I: The Phantom Menace, which was released in 1999, was supposed to hit the cinemas again as some kind of 25th anniversary party of the first film that comes in the Prequel Trilogy.
Now that another Star Wars’ project, a TV show called The Acolyte, is set to be released this year, the company is going to let the devoted fans have a huge party. The latter ones have to be prepared though as all of the Star Wars’ universe’s films are coming to the big screens making it all one big (and long-lasting) marathon.
Those who are patiently waiting for The Acolyte to come out should pay a special attention to the upcoming celebration as it also comes with some never-seen-before sneak peek of the series that will be shown with Episode I. One more tempting reason to choose theaters over the Disney+ subscription is that marathoners will get a limited edition poster.
However, there are also other options except for getting to live in a theater while the marathon keeps going. If someone is not willing to rewatch once again each and every one of the films, they will also be able to choose whatever they prefer — the movies will run separately from each other and the marathon itself.
The exciting news seems to be revealed quite on time as the first trailer of the Acolyte was dropped just yesterday. The first two episodes will appear on Disney+ On June 4 and the other six episodes will be joining in one by one every week.
