Baby Reindeer Star’s Crime Comedy Drama May End With Just 3 Seasons
Maybe it’s better to end on a high note.
Summary:

Every time a TV show comes to an end, it's a good time to look back at the story and see what could have been done better. In many cases, the finale comes a few seasons too late, as the writers try to salvage the story and keep viewers interested, but fall flat at every other attempt.
There aren't many shows that have the guts to make a decision and leave in their prime, but every time it happens, viewers should make sure to watch it as a reminder of how real talent cares about not having their work messed with. From what it looks like, The Outlaws is now going to join this list.
Is The Outlaws Renewed for Another Season?
Starring Baby Reindeer 's Jessica Gunning, as well as Christopher Walken, Stephen Merchant and Eleanor Tomlinson, among many others, The Outlaws is the show that puts a bunch of former criminals to work while they complete their community payback sentence. However, nothing goes according to plan and so the story begins.
The show has been running for 2 seasons now, with the 3rd season set to premiere on the last day of May. And as it seems, this season will be the last.
Even though the fans of the crime comedy drama might find it hard to say goodbye to their favorite TV show that has entertained and thrilled them for almost 3 years now, the actor who is also the creator of the series, Stephen Merchant, is much more optimistic. Speaking to Deadline, he revealed that it feels like the right time to move on.
“I think this series concludes in a very nice way and hopefully might bring a tear to the eye, so if it does then that would be great. I am so pleased it’s run this long. I’ve enjoyed the cast, filming in my hometown of Bristol and dropping into this genre. It ticks a lot of boxes for me in terms of what I wanted to do with it,” he said.
Merchant has also admitted that taking a break from Outlaws could have a positive effect on his own mental health, as he suffers from constant burnout after such an intense job. As long as the third season of the BBC and Amazon Prime Video drama wraps up all the storylines nicely, viewers can at least take solace in the fact that it hasn't dragged on for years.
To embark on the adventures that the Outlaws universe throws at the characters, be sure to stream the first two seasons on Amazon Prime Video, or tune in to the season three premiere on May 31 to make sure you don't miss a single plot development.
