'Avatar' Sequel Trailer to Drop Ahead of 'Doctor Strange 2', But Fans Already Not Impressed
The first ‘Avatar’ movie was released in 2009 – which is, when you think about it, more than ten years ago. After the film’s huge success, its director James Cameron has been promising to roll out the sequel soon – and it seems the time has come.
A trailer for the upcoming sequel of ‘Avatar ’ has received a release date. According to The Ankler, the trailer will drop right before ‘Doctor Strange 2: Multiverse of Madness’ premiere, on May 6.
There have not been many details about what can be expected from ‘Avatar 2’. But, despite the fact that fans are yet to see the trailer and the actual movie, they don’t seem to be very welcoming.
Some people could not believe it is actually happening. Honestly, it’s been 13 years! In Azkaban! Oh wait, that’s a different movie.
However, there were people not ready to immediately hate the yet-to-be-released movie.
The first ‘Avatar’ movie, released in 2009, was an absolute commercial success. Since then and until 2019, it was the highest-grossing movie of all time, before getting kicked out from the top by ‘Avengers: Endgame’.
