American Horror Story Season 12: What We Know So Far
Will Kim Kardashian make a breakthrough with her first biggest acting role?
American Horror Story is one of FX's most popular shows of all time that has given us 11 unbelievable seasons since 2011.
The rumors about the 12th season started arising in 2020, and two years later, here's everything we know about it.
Theme
Each season of AHS has always had its own storyline, different from all the previous ones, and the upcoming season is not an exception.
The 12th season of American Horror Story will be titled American Horror Story: Delicate and will be the first season to be based on the book.
The novel Delicate Condition written by Danielle Valentine brings us a story with a taste of Rosemary's Baby along with the thriller that we all love so much in AHS.
Cast
One of the first cast members to be confirmed for AHS Season 12 was Matt Czuchry.
He was later joined by Kim Kardashian, a star of her family's reality shows, and a newcomer to the AHS family, and Emma Roberts, a veteran, who gave the fans her outstanding performance in 5 out of 11 seasons of the show.
However, our old favorite cast seems to be confined only to Emma, as Sarah Paulson confirmed that she needs to give her nervous system a break and Evan Peters seems busy with his new projects.
But hope springs eternal, so until all the episodes air, we will still look for the familiar faces in them.
Release Date
The new season is expected to be released in the summer of 2023 and, probably just like the latest season, will air two episodes every Wednesday night.
Writers
This time, the season will be written by one person, Halley Feiffer, who has previously worked with Ryan Murphy on Impeachment: American Crime Story.
However, Murphy and Brad Falchuk will still be the show's executive producers.
Season 13
In 2020, FX announced that the anthology series has been renewed for three more seasons, which means that season 13 will definitely happen, but the plot and cast are still kept under wraps.
