All 8 Bridgerton Siblings, Ranked from Bestie to Pathetic
The Bridgertons are a fun bunch, but some of them are just more likable than others.
The on-screen Bridgertons are pretty different from their book versions, so we’ve decided to rank the series siblings, based on what we know about them so far. Here are all eight Bridgerton siblings, ranked.
8. Daphne
Well, given that she is a literal rapist, what did you expect? Daphne, the eldest daughter, used to be endearing with her perky outlook on life and no-nonsense attitude, but Netflix has completely ruined her with a single scene. Yes, the one where she sexually assaults Simon, her husband. That is disgusting and wrong, and we cannot believe that she has still gotten her happily-ever-after.
7. Anthony
Viscount Bridgerton, aka the eldest son, isn’t much better. He is controlling, hypocritical, and whiny. We get that Anthony is the product of his time and that he needs to be the head of the household, but he also needs to chill a little bit. Hopefully, his marriage to Kate will make him a lot more mellow and less annoying in season 3, otherwise we just can’t deal with him anymore.
6. Colin
Colin’s obliviousness is getting tiresome after two seasons, that’s all we are saying. He’s not a bad person, but he is just neither here nor there at the moment. The poor kid can’t decide what to do with himself, and yet he is arrogant enough not to listen to the wiser people’s advice. The fact that Colin doesn’t notice Penelope’s pining after him is ridiculous because there’s no way. Plus, his hurtful words at the end of season 2 don’t look good on him at all.
5. Francesca
Francesca is supposed to be the third Bridgerton daughter who is approaching her womanhood, and yet she is barely there. It’s hard to say whether we like her or not since we can’t remember a single memorable scene or line with Francesca. Well, maybe once Hannah Dodd takes over the role in season 3, the character will be more present and have a purpose beyond being an element of the decor.
4. Gregory
Gregory is actually the youngest son, but he is older than Hyacinth in the books, which doesn’t seem to be the case on Netflix’s show. Still, Gregory is an adorable scene-stealer, and we just can’t get enough of him. It is going to be great to see him grow up right before our eyes, provided that the show will cover all the eight novels, including his story, though it is unlikely.
3. Hyacinth
Despite being the youngest Bridgerton child, Hyacinth is already more fascinating to watch than some of the older ones. She is funny, she has aspirations, and her character development is gradual but evident — and a lot of that can be attributed to Florence Hunt, the actress who portrays Hyacinth. We can’t wait to see what the future has in store for this character!
2. Benedict
Benedict is just so wholesome. Being the second oldest brother, he doesn’t share Anthony’s grim “I have responsibilities” schtick, but instead, he just chooses to be authentically himself. Honestly, we wish Benedict had gotten all the screen time Anthony’d had! Despite not having nearly as much, he still manages to make his storylines compelling in a way that feels fresh and exciting.
1. Eloise
There’s never going to be anyone else taking the Bridgerton sibling crown. Eloise has been a fan-favorite character since her first scene in season 1. Her refusal to conform to the society’s norms, her innocence, her sharp sense of humor — all that and more is the reason why Eloise is relatable. She’s the one character you would definitely want to meet up with for coffee to talk about all sorts of things, be they feminism of the early 19th century or the newest book releases.
