All 6 Movie James Bonds, Ranked by Their Body Count
As we’re waiting for the new Agent 007, how about we see just how many people have the previous ones already killed? Maybe, we don’t even need a new Bond?..
The further you go into this list, the more you’ll find yourselves wondering whether the iconic superspy is actually the good guy at all as his body count is terrifying.
6. George Lazenby — 6 Kills in 1 Movie
Some of you might not even know George Lazenby as an Agent 007 actor, but his one and only outing as James Bond is officially canon.
Thanks to the overall lack of action in his movie, he didn’t get to wipe out too many people: in Lazenby’s 1969 On Her Majesty's Secret Service, his MI6 agent only killed 6 people, which is the lowest.
5. Timothy Dalton — 20 Kills in 2 Movies
The most book-accurate James Bond of them all, Timothy Dalton only portrayed the iconic superspy twice: in 1987’s The Living Daylights and 1989’s Licence to Kill. Despite that, Dalton’s overwhelmingly serious and focused Agent 007 averaged more kills per movie than Lazenby, bringing in 20 personal kills for the count.
4. Sean Connery — 68 Kills in 6 Movies
Venturing into the realms of the more popular superspy stars, Sean Connery is famously the original James Bond actor. With six official Bond movies to his name, Connery kept a surprisingly low body count: the fact that he had 68 kills from all his Agent 007 outings means his average wasn’t much higher than Dalton’s.
3. Pierce Brosnan — 103 Kills in 4 Movies
While Pierce Brosnan’s Agent 007 movies are typically considered light-hearted, his Bond was twice as bloodthirsty as Connery’s, bringing him the third place on our list. Brosnan’s superspy personally dispatched 103 people across only four movies, averaging 26 kills per film. This is a serious statement, but not the most horrifying.
2. Roger Moore — 121 Kill in 7 Movies
If you’re anything like us, you remember Roger Moore’s Bond for his one-liners and quips that often felt out-of-place. It’s not like this version of Agent 007 is considered bloodthirsty, but surprisingly, it raked 121 kills from seven movies. This still places Moore’s Bond lower than Brosnan's in terms of average kills, but the total is higher.
1. Daniel Craig — 235 Kills in 5 Movies
We’ve officially arrived at the monster’s territory. Daniel Craig’s James Bond is a killing machine with the highest kill count in the franchise as he doubles his closest competitors’ scores in terms of both total kills and average kills per movie — he has 235 and 59, respectively, against their 121 and 26. Those villains better hide!
