Artificial intelligence allows us to catch a glimpse of the fictional universes that are quite difficult (and not exactly necessary) to create using more traditional media.
We have animated characters as villains, Marvel and DC crossovers, and even Avengers as 80s wrestlers.
But do we have... Pirates of the Caribbean as Balenciaga models? Well, now we do.
Posted on YouTube channel Abandoned Films, the new video imagines our beloved Disney pirates as people who care more about style and fits than sea fights and ships.
Moreover, the "Balenciaga" versions of the characters even drop some fashionable one-liners in the style of Captain Jack Sparrow, Will Turner, and Elizabeth Swann, which makes it even better.
Even such little details as the notorious jar of dirt made it into this Caribbean fashion show!
Captain Jack Sparrow undoubtedly had an impeccable fashion taste even before the AI intervened; but we must admit that he would be a great Balenciaga model. Might be the most stylish pirate you have ever seen, if we may...
We only have one regret, though. For some reason, the AI decided not to share its take on Davy Jones, the captain of the Flying Dutchman, as a fashionista.
Imagine the creative ways his face tentacles could be used... well, now that we've said it, it's probably not that much of a regret we didn't see him in his Balenciaga look.
With Disney mulling the possibility of resurrecting the Pirates franchise, maybe we all do need a reboot with more focus on sea fashion? Everything doesn't have to be a constant sea battle, after all.
