The show is known to predict global events, yet fails to foresee the consequences of a rough upbringing.

It's not often that we think about what would happen to the heroes of our favorite shows in the real world. Even less often do we think about animated shows, most of which are based on fantasy stories.

However, The Simpsons, a show known for its frightening closeness to reality, would be an interesting option for such analysis.

Many have wondered what The Simpsons would be like in real life. Both fandom artists and AI tools that generate images on demand have worked on the illustrations.

But nothing could compare to the creation that went popular on Twitter and made viewers truly thankful that there's no action movie in the works for The Simpsons.

Because if there was, it would have been a nightmare worthy of horror.

Now that we know what the Simpson family would look like in our reality, wouldn't it be interesting to find out what their daily struggles would be?

We know enough about Homer and Marge, their tortured marriage, questionable parenting methods, and various addictions. Their children, however, are another story.

The users of r/fictionalpsychology took it upon themselves to ponder the consequences of a childhood spent in the Simpson household.

The results turned out to be very unfortunate, as viewers of the show pointed out many symptoms of various mental health issues that showed up in Bart's behavior.

The strongest would be Oppositional Defiant Disorder (ODD) and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), with the latter being canonically confirmed in one of the episodes.

Although the ODD diagnosis is never directly mentioned, Bart shows signs of it all the time, the most prominent of which is his own quote: "I'm just angry all the time".

Fortunately, these disorders don't necessarily mean that he can't overcome them and turn his life around in the future.

"Oddly, Bart will grow into an entrepreneur growing Cowabunga Weed distributed nationwide and become a billionaire capitalist. His narcissistic personality disorder will have him in a Twitter battle of wits with Elon Musk.

Which Bart will win with his infamous "Eat my Shorts" tweet after shorting Tesla stock and buying SpaceEx at a huge discount. Mr Burns will beg Bart to join his firm," Redditor Altruistic-Text3481 even suggested a perfect happy-ending scenario for Bart, in which his mental issues would only accumulate into his success.

Who knows, maybe this is exactly what Bart's future holds.

If you feel like watching a couple of The Simpsons episodes, you can stream the show on fuboTV, Hulu Plus, and Disney Plus.
