Ahsoka S2 Filming Dates Still a Mystery, but Rosario Dawson Teases Many ‘Juicy Details’

After the overall success of the first season of Ahsoka, viewers were curious to see what season 2 would bring. Still on the fence about most newer Star Wars installments, longtime fans of the franchise are cautious about the upcoming storylines, but interested in seeing all the cliffhangers resolved.

While we know that season 2 is coming at some point, there is no definitive information on when that will happen. With no timeline in place, fans are growing increasingly anxious about the show's production and how long they'll have to wait.

When Will Ahsoka Season 2 Be Released?

So far, the news from the team behind the series hasn't brought any comfort to fans. While it is nice to know that the next installment of the series is in the works, there is no certainty. And sadly, not even the show's star, Ahsoka Tano herself, has a clear idea of the timeline.

Speaking to Collider at FanExpo Boston, Rosario Dawson, who portrayed the titular character in season 1 and is set to return for season 2, had nothing new to share. She herself remains in the dark about the filming dates, all thanks to the series creator Dave Filoni.

“You know what's so messed up about that, that's the question I asked him the most, and that's the thing he's not been forthcoming about. He told me a lot of other details that you would find very juicy that I cannot repeat, but I was totally tantalized to hear,” Dawson shared.

Of course, even those juicy details the actress mentioned are out of reach for the fans for now. While it's always nice to know that the show is moving forward with pre-production, and that the show's creator has a lot of ideas for the next chapter, fans have had to accept the fact that Ahsoka won't be returning in 2024, and are now aiming for a 2025 premiere.
