There’s no such thing as too late to peak.

Just like in any other career where you have to be public, actors believe that they can become outdated once they pass a certain age. Although that is not always the case, and it affects women more than it does men, the fear of age is very much real and is constantly fed by tabloids too.

However, no matter how much time the actor has already spent on building their career, it doesn’t mean they can’t move up even further.

One of the most recent examples of that would be Adam Sandler, who’s been in the industry for more than 30 years, yet still managed to break his own record and release his best work to date.

The only catch is, another Sandler has clearly stolen the spotlight in this one.

You Are So Not Invited to My Bat Mitzvah is a Netflix- produced adaptation of the young adult novel by Fiona Rosenbloom. What makes it special for both the viewers and Adam Sandler himself, great reviews aside, is that the movie stars both of his teenage daughters, Sunny and Sadie, portraying his on-screen kids.

Although Adam Sandler plays a minor role on-screen, as the father of a family, he spent much more time on that film off-camera, being a producer. You Are So Not Invited to My Bat Mitzvah is the latest title of Sandler’s $250M deal with Netflix, and it promises to be his most successful one with a groundbreaking 96% start on Rotten Tomatoes.

Not only is that a great addition to Sandler’s producer’s portfolio, but also a very smooth start for both Sunny and Sadie Sandler, which will help them ease into acting careers if they prefer to continue working in that direction.

It’s not that common for the audience and critics to give such a warm welcome to nepo-babies, but this time the talent clearly won everybody over.

If you want to check out You Are So Not Invited to My Bat Mitzvah, the coming-of-age comedy is already available to stream on Netflix!
