Season 2, which premiered a week ago, was also great, but as some fans say, the writing turned out to be less sharp and powerful than it was a year ago.

However, there's a reason for that: the story is evolving and we don't need to focus so much on the same things, but rather delve into individual stories and the criminal life of Belfast, which is so different from what audiences are used to seeing on their screens in other shows.

Recently, the show was greenlit for season 3, and fans believe there's still so much potential to explore in the future. And just as all the fans have been begging, the creators have finally given in and are ready to release season 3 with 12 episodes instead of 6. This will give the writers a chance to explore the stories in even more detail.
