A Mind-Blowing Marvel Cameo in The Winchesters Just Became A Bit More Possible Than You Think

Now that Richard Speight Jr. is officially confirmed to be returning in The Winchesters to reprise his role as the show's trickster Loki ( or maybe Gabriel disguising as one again, we don't know for sure yet), fan speculations are starting to pour in.
So, Loki, right? With all that multiverse buzz going around recently, fans can't help but wonder whether Speight Jr's Loki would be the only trickster in The Winchesters.
Reddit user gerryf19 came up with an idea that would seem borderline impossible, but is there anything truly impossible nowadays? According to the user, it could be mind-blowing if The Winchesters team could get Tom Hiddleston for a cameo in The Winchesters and just make a little Marvel homage in the Supernatural prequel.
"If they could have Tom Hiddleston do a cameo where he is just walking past Richard Speight and they both kind of double take I would die a happy man," the user suggested.
Two Lokis are always better than one, right? And now that Speight Jr. returns to play Loki again, the possibility of The Winchesters going for a potentially explosive cameo might have become a little bit higher.
To be fair, chances of such a team-up are low as of now — but never zero, since multiverse appears to be a new trend that pretty much every franchise is going for. The MCU is actively exploring the possibilities behind different universes, and Supernatural also never shied away from alternative dimensions. The Winchester hunters are no stranger to multiverse adventures if you think about it: from Scooby Doo to mixing up real-life actors with the characters, this show appears to have done the boldest things.
The Winchesters creative team continues to hint that things might not go as expected in the prequel. It does not necessarily mean that they decided to pour all the budget into inviting Tom Hiddleston to reprise his own version of the Norse trickster — but even the wildest fan fantasies tend to become reality in recent years.
