6 The Office Stars Who Appeared In Marvel Cinematic Universe
Which The Office actors swapped the photocopier for fight scenes in the MCU?
Have you ever been watching your favorite Marvel movie or series and found yourself saying, "Hey, isn't that...?" Well, if you're a fan of The Office, you might have recognized a few familiar faces.
A handful of actors from The Office have made the jump from the paperwork-filled offices of Dunder Mifflin to the MCU. Let’s have a moment to remember these great actors.
James Spader
Who can forget Robert California from The Office? The eccentric, overconfident, and sometimes downright bizarre CEO of Dunder Mifflin Sabre was portrayed masterfully by James Spader.
Surprisingly, Spader was the voice of Ultron, the rogue AI with a god complex, in Avengers: Age of Ultron.
Randall Park
Randall Park, aka Asian Jim from The Office, made quite the leap to the MCU as well. Park played Jimmy Woo, an FBI agent in Ant-Man and The Was', and reprised his role in the WandaVision series.
Martin Freeman
Martin Freeman played Tim Canterbury in the original UK version of The Office, a character who was adapted into Jim Halpert for the US version.
In the MCU, Freeman portrayed Everett Ross, a former US Air Force pilot turned CIA operative, who appeared in Captain America: Civil War, Black Panther and a couple of Disney Plus’ shows, including the recent Secret Invasion.
Evan Peters
Remember Luke Cooper, Michael Scott's nephew, who popped up in season 7 of The Office? That was Evan Peters, who then skyrocketed to fame in X-men as Quicksilver.
But he also appeared in MCU’s WandaVision as a character named Ralph Bohner, who posed as Wanda’s brother, Pietro (Quicksilver).
Idris Elba
Idris Elba, who portrayed Charles Miner, the no-nonsense Vice President of Northeast Sales at Dunder Mifflin, also played a significant role in the MCU.
Elba took on the character of Heimdall, the all-seeing, all-hearing Asgardian sentry of the Bifröst Bridge, in the Thor series of movies.
John Krasinski is best known for his iconic role as Jim Halpert in The Office, but he made an appearance in the MCU? Many fans wanted to see him as Reed Richards aka Mr. Fantastic.
And he actually did. He made a brief cameo as Mr. Fantastic from an alternate universe in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.
