6 'Stranger Things' Actors Who Can Sing
True talent knows no limits.
Folks from the 'Stranger Things ' cast do have something to surprise fans: not only can they act in the ways that trigger online campaigns to nominate them for Emmy, like, right now, but also sing as if they aim for a Grammy.
Let's look at the members of the 'Stranger Things' squad who can sing – and occasionally give them a listen.
Finn Wolfhard
The Mike Wheeler actor is not only one of the show's leads, he was also once the frontman of the Canadian band Calpurnia. Unfortunately, the band is no longer a thing, but you can still check out Finn's singing during one of the concerts:
Gaten Matarazzo
Portraying arguably one of the most lovable characters in the show, Dustin Henderson, Gaten Matarazzo started his acting career on Broadway, of all places. Naturally, singing is no problem for him – and he even got a chance to prove it within 'Stranger Things' in a pretty awkward and hilarious scene.
Maya Hawke
A 'Stranger Things' newcomer, Maya Hawke, who portrays Robin in the show, not only sings but also writes songs, being a big fan of folk music. She said she has been influenced by Leonard Cohen, Joni Mitchell and Patti Smith. After releasing her two singles in 2019, Hawke doesn't plan to stop. You can check out her most recent single, 'Sweet Tooth ', here on Spotify.
It would be weird if the biggest Kate Bush fan did not sing herself. Sadie Sink, who portrays Max in 'Stranger Things', is also no stranger to Broadway, like Gaten Matarazzo. She has been singing since she was a little kid, recently rocking several songs alongside castmate Millie Bobby Brown. If you had a bad day, a video compilation of Sadie Sink singing might be just what you need:
Millie Bobby Brown
Okay, did someone say Millie Bobby Brown? Because the actress behind the show's main character, Eleven, can not only sing – she can also drop some rhymes.
Surprise surprise – if you think you can resist Vecna with the help of music, wait until Vecna uses his own singing voice against you. Jamie Campbell Bower, a season 4 newcomer to the cast, also got some tunes – and he even filmed a couple of music videos. For several years, Bower had been the frontman of the band named Counterfeit – they parted ways in 2020.
