Rotten Tomatoes Score: 54%

Clearly inspired by the horror films of Michael Haneke and Jordan Peele, The Strays is an unusual representative of the crime genre that explores social issues of status and privilege in direct proportion to race, and what one is willing to do for those privileges.

The story centers on a biracial, upper-class English woman whose family is terrorized by two black teenagers who claim to be her children.

4. Missing

An indirect sequel to the 2018 screenlife thriller Searching and the 2020 psychological horror Run, Missing was also written by the screenwriting duo Sev Ohanian and Aneesh Chaganty.

Like Searching, the movie develops the narrative of finding a missing person through modern technology, in this case the mother of a young woman living in Los Angeles who went on vacation to Colombia. The film will provide a tremendous amount of stunning twists and revelations, with a thoughtful use of modern services and apps.
