6. Shax
Shax is the only demon that succeeded in permanently killing one of the Charmed Ones, which is the reason he made the list in the first place.
The Source’s personal assassin was powerful, cunning, and worked in mysterious ways – fans still don’t know why this upper-level demon was after Dr. Griffith in the first place. Still, Shax, the demon who killed Prue, is worthy of the sixth place.
5. Zankou
Zankou is one of the very few villains who actually thought their plans of attack through. Intelligent and ruthless, he was always one step ahead of the Halliwell sisters, and if it weren’t for his hunger for power, Zankou may have well been unvanquishable, surpassing the Source in abilities.
4. The Seer
The Seer is an underrated baddie on Charmed. Overlooked by the Source and other demons, she knew what she wanted and was prepared to do whatever’s necessary to get it. The Seer ultimately broke Cole and Phoebe apart (for the zillionth time) and stole Phoebe’s baby, which is one of the most horrid consequences of her rule in the Underworld.
3. The Source
If you’re surprised that the Source doesn’t reign supreme in this list, ask yourself: was he really that terrifying after all the failed attempts to be resurrected? We’ll admit, the Source used to seem pretty intimidating during his first arc on Charmed, but with every attempt to prolong his storyline, he just became less frightening and more pathetic.
2. Barbas
Say what you will, but Barbas was an awesome adversary of the Charmed Ones! The Demon of Fear was relentless in his search of power, and he had the most amazing chemistry with the Halliwell sisters. Every time he appeared on the screen, Barbas became the main character, and we were fascinated to watch him.

Cole is a fan-favorite character, there’s no denying it. Whether he is good or bad or good again, we love him or we love to hate him. While we would prefer the good guy version of Cole, his evil side is just as attractive, be it Belthazor or the Source. Cole Turner is iconic regardless!
