Some of the greatest actors just weren't created for romance.

While some of us are willing to pay top dollar to kiss Leonardo DiCaprio, or would have paid even more for the chance to lock lips with Marilyn Monroe, not everyone shares the same passion.

Even celebrities who are open about annoying, funny, and amusing behind-the-scenes facts don't talk about it.

However, there are few who do make a great story and explain the lack of chemistry between them and their co-workers in the most hilarious way.

Let's see what are the 5 most unpleasant on-screen kisses according to Hollywood actors themselves.

They may be lacking in the kissing department, but their movies will definitely leave you impressed.

Kirsten Dunst and Brad Pitt, Interview with the Vampire

The kiss itself may not have been that bad, but Kirsten Dunst was only 11 years old when she did it.

Aside from the fact that the actress was simply too young to kiss anyone, onscreen or off, she says that kissing Brad Pitt was like kissing her own older brother: downright gross and creepy.

The actress remembers not wanting to kiss anyone for the next 5 years because of that experience.

Kirsten Dunst and Tobey Maguire, Spider-Man

Let's just say the actress wasn't so lucky, and her next iconic on-screen kiss in Spider-Man wasn't such a pleasant experience either.

This time, it was simply a matter of logistics, as it's hard to concentrate and relax when you're trying to maneuver a kiss upside down in the pouring rain.

Maguire felt like he was drowning the whole time and had to breathe through his mouth, so it felt more like a weird mouth-to-mouth experience than a romantic kiss.

Jake Gyllenhaal and Heath Ledger, Brokeback Mountain

Two actors were perhaps a bit too aggressive and passionate in their kisses, as Gyllenhaal recalls feeling sore after filming a particular scene:

"Heath almost broke my nose in a kissing scene. He grabs me and he slams me up against the wall and kisses me. And then I grab him and I slam him up against the wall and I kiss him. And we were doing take after take after take. I got the sh*t beat out of me".

Rupert Grint and Emma Watson, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2

Another prime example of children actors having intimacy issues.

It's not surprising that Ruper Grint felt really weird about kissing Emma Watson, as the two pretty much grew up together on set and felt more like siblings than anything else.

The actor cannot look back on that kiss so much that he skips it every time he re-watches the movie.

Marilyn Monroe and Tony Curtis, Some Like It Hot

Imagine a kiss so bad that afterward you're compared to Hitler?

Well, apparently that's what happened to Tony Curtis. After giving this incredibly insensitive answer in one of his interviews, the actor tried to take it back and turn it into a joke, but admitted that the kiss wasn't exactly a dream because Monroe came out too strong.
