Did Starlight from The Boys really fight against Kilgrave in Jessica Jones?
Even though The Boys is a satirical take on superhero culture, Marvel fans are eager to see many of The Boys actors in the roles of their favorite comic book characters.
Interestingly, several members of this ensemble have previously taken up roles in Marvel's movies or TV shows.
Laurie Holden
If you watched The Walking Dead, you will most likely recognize Laurie Holden as Andrea. But she also appeared both in a Marvel movie and in The Boys.
Holden appeared in the Marvel universe as Debbie McIlvane, Ben Grimm's ex-fiancée in the 2005 Fantastic Four movie. She has since taken on a notably different role in The Boys as Crimson Countess, a member of the supe team Payback, in the series’ third season.

Shawn Ashmore
Shawn Ashmore is known for his role as Bobby Drake/Iceman in the X-Men series, where he portrayed the frosty mutant in four movies. In The Boys, Ashmore switched to a fiery persona as Lamplighter, a former member of The Seven.
Lamplighter was initially replaced by Starlight due to his “retirement,” but we saw him make a comeback in the second season.
