5 TBBT Storylines That Could've Made It Even Better (Besides Justice For Raj)
Is it the right time to suggest a revival?
It doesn't matter how long the show has been around or how much it has covered in its run. If the premise is good and the characters are still beloved, fans are going to want more content and more storylines to explore. The Big Bang Theory is no exception.
Even though the show's seven main characters have been together and through thick and thin several times, people still think there's so much more the show could have done.
Here are 5 storylines that could have made the original The Big Bang Theory that much better, but would still make for a great comeback.
A Geeky Girl In Squad
If it wasn't a choice made at the very beginning, then a character like that should have been introduced later. Eventually, we have gotten Bernadette and Amy, both very smart, but not too geeky. The female perspective on online fandoms and popular culture has been sorely missed throughout the show.
Penny Exploring Other Careers
Frankly, we were all happy to see Penny get at least one job, waitressing and bartending aside. Still, she was clearly unhappy as a pharmaceutical rep, and it would be better if the show acknowledged that and at least let her try out for more interviews once she got some experience.
Raj Going To Therapy
There wasn't a single person who wasn't rooting for Raj to end up with at least one of his love interests. But there wasn't a single chance that he could even build a trusting relationship without dealing with his issues first. Of all the characters, the kind and sensitive Raj also had the highest chance of success in therapy, so it was a missed opportunity.
Comic-Con Episode
With so many pop culture references, the Comic-Con episode could have been one of the most memorable specials. The whole crew showing up in costume, taking pictures with people, and standing in line for autographs would have been the experience of a lifetime, not only for the characters on the show but for the outside audience as well.
More Missy
The idea behind this is pretty self-explanatory, people miss Missy and want more of her. She was a fun character in The Big Bang Theory, but seeing her open up in Young Sheldon just showed people how much more potential she had as an adult. Too bad no one really thought that much about Sheldon's twin sister back in the day.
