Supernatural would not be the same without the music.

Although there are many TV series that try to incorporate music into the storytelling, not many of them are as good as Supernatural. All viewers know that the soundtrack can easily make or break any scene of the show, and the fans of the Winchesters brothers have whole playlists dedicated to their favorite characters.

Here are five songs that no Supernatural fan would be able to listen to without singing along.

Bob Seger – Night Moves

The scene of Dean absolutely dismissing any of Sam’s explanations about what happened last night with Bob Seger’s hit left us all hysterically laughing. After all, what other words would one need, when the rock legend sang it all out already?

Styx – Renegade

Supernatural was always great about matching the sound to the moment in the show, and the scene with Sam and Dean escaping a held-up bank in full SWAT gear by the sound of Renegade is no exception. Many viewers consider this scene to be one of the best matches throughout the whole show.

AC/DC – Back in Black

One of the Winchesters’ classics that will throw you back into the earlier seasons of the show and make you imagine riding the legendary Chevrolet Impala down the twisted Canadian roads. AC/DC’s sound is probably the most notable one when it comes to the overall spirit of the show.

Blue Öyster Cult – (Don’t Fear) The Reaper

Once again, a perfect match of a song to a perfectly directed moment. There could be no better track to use to introduce the viewers to The Reaper himself, the most powerful entity when it comes to giving and taking life away.

Kansas – Carry On My Wayward Son

This song became a Supernatural unofficial theme for a reason: it fit so perfectly to every scene it was used throughout the years, that it felt like the only logical soundtrack to use at the very finale of the show as well. Whether you watched only one season of the show or finished all 15, you will recognize this track anywhere you go.
