They have shined too bright.

Some shows become instantly popular and stick around, proving to be just as popular as the years go by. Whatever you think of shows like Friends or Game of Thrones, there is no denying that they are still as popular as ever, no matter how many years have passed.

The same can't be said for everything on TV. Some shows that get a lot of buzz when they first come out end up being forgotten within seconds, and that's exactly the case with the 5 K-dramas on the list below. Check them out if you want to refresh your memory of a truly iconic series that no one seems to be talking about anymore.

A Korean Odyssey (2017)

Although the show was extremely popular at the time of its airing, many viewers don't find themselves strong enough to even go back and watch it, knowing that everything the character goes through leads to the most controversial and unsatisfying finale. No amount of production quality can help you manage your emotions.

Sky Castle (2018-2019)

In 2018, when the series aired, it was the highest-rated drama in the history of Korean cable television. Today, however, it is rarely remembered, even though its theme of Korea's modern elite is still very popular. Those who do get their hands on the show find it hard to look away.

Start-Up (2020)

Everything from the main theme of the show to the post-production is great, except for one very important thing: the audience just doesn't find the male lead that likable. Start-Up suffers from the “second lead syndrome,” which makes the audience root for the wrong guy, leading to inevitable disappointment in the finale.

Go Back Couple (2017)

The show was great while it lasted. It was fun, the leads were charismatic enough, and the premise was still somewhat fresh. However, it's just not a show you'd go back to for a second viewing. The humor was effective but simple, and the story didn't make you root for the characters all that much. It was a fun and easy watch, but nothing special.

Our Blooming Youth (2023)

The series became extremely popular at the beginning of this year, but now you won't see anyone recommending it among other great titles. The reason is that the only thing people were really interested in was Park Hyung-sik, who portrayed the young prince Lee Hwan. As soon as people got what they wanted, their interest immediately waned.
