5 MCU Villains Who Are Alive and Ready for a Major Comeback
These bad guys are still lurking in the shadows somewhere.
If you thought the Marvel Cinematic Universe was done with all of its wicked villains, think again. There are some baddies from the past who are alive and well, just waiting for their moment to shine once again.
Let's take a moment to remember some of them.
Justin Hammer
The slick-talking industrialist from Iron Man 2, Justin Hammer, played brilliantly by Sam Rockwell, is still out there. He's got a mind full of devious plans and enough resources to cause some serious trouble.
We haven't seen the character since the Iron Man sequel, and the best MCU project for him to return would be Armor Wars which originally was supposed to be a series for Disney Plus.
Yon-Rogg
You may recall Yon-Rogg as the manipulative Kree commander from Captain Marvel. Portrayed by Jude Law, Yon-Rogg was last seen being sent to Hala in a spacecraft by Carol Danvers.
He might still resurface and cause problems for our heroes in some of the projects related to Captain Marvel, Miss Marvel, or Monica Rambeau.
The High Evolutionary
The most recent villain who appeared in Guardians of the Galaxy vol.3, The High Evolutionary, is a mad scientist with a desire to manipulate genetics and evolve living beings.
The movie hinted that The High Evolutionary didn't die. More than that, James Gunn, the director of the movie, confirmed on Twitter that he survived and was imprisoned on Knowhere.
The chances of us encountering the character in the near future are slim, but he remains alive and there's a possibility of his appearance in Guardians of the Galaxy 4, provided the film is created.
Agatha Harkness
Agatha Harkness, portrayed by Kathryn Hahn, was nothing short of spectacular in WandaVision. Agatha was trapped by Scarlet Witch but she will soon return in her own show Agatha: Coven of Chaos, scheduled to premiere on Disney Plus in 2024.
Wilson Fisk
After the amazing Netflix 's Daredevil series, Vincent D'Onofrio's finally returned with his menacing performance as Wilson Fisk, also known as the Kingpin, in Hawkeye.
He was shot by Maya Lopez, but we haven't seen his death.
D'Onofrio's will reprise his role in Disney Plus' series Echo and Daredevil: Born Again.
