We can all agree, some things shouldn’t have ever happened.

Not every episode of every TV show has to be a masterpiece. More often than not, people watch them for fun or to relax after a hard day. The only thing you would ask of the show in that case is not to add to the stress of your daily life.

But sometimes that happens even with the best of the best, like Criminal Minds.

Here are 5 moments that any Criminal Minds fan would rather skip than relive the embarrassment.

OCD Joke (S01E02)

If you go back and re-watch the first season of Criminal Minds, you'll find a lot of very cringeworthy moments like this one. "OCD? I think it's more like OMG," said Derek Morgan, who then had to explain that OMG is the best of 2005 television packed into five very painful seconds.

ASMR Failure (S14E12)

In episode 12 of season 14, the entire team is faced with the disappearance of three children who appear to have been taken from their home in the middle of the night. The script requires the actors to discuss ASMR quite a bit, as it becomes the key to the answer, and every time they managed to pronounce it wrong, which annoyed all fans familiar with the genre.

Spencer Reid vs. Twilight ( S05E07)

No one in the entire Criminal Minds fandom believes that someone with a memory of Spencer Reid is so ignorant of pop culture as to not know what Twilight is. No matter how unique Reid really is, the "not like other girls" attitude was over the top and not at all welcome.

Wheels Up Speech (S13E01)

What a way to start the season! A monologue followed by everyone using the same catchphrase, which was supposed to be heartwarming, turned out to be very cringe-worthy. Whether it was a problem of execution or the dialog was written too cheesy to begin with is unknown, but it certainly spoiled Wheels Up for everyone.

JJ's Confession (S14E15)

Besides a horribly written criminal with no motivation, this episode featured an unwanted love story. Although it was a pretty happy day for all the JJ and Reid shippers out there, the majority of Criminal Minds fans feel that it ruined the perfectly friendly and platonic dynamic that the two partners had. The fact that JJ was happily married did not help matters either.
