5 Actor Duos Whose BTS Drama Made It Really Hard to Work Together
So much drama. We love it.
We all have that one person in our circle who gets on our nerves and just looking at their face makes us sick. Well, it seems that the Hollywood world isn't much different from ours.
Some of the actors have gone to such lengths that they are ready to turn down a project just to avoid seeing a person they despise.
Here is the list of actors who have sworn never to work with their ex-colleagues ever again.
1. Leonardo DiCaprio and Mark Wahlberg
According to Wahlberg, he and DiCaprio had a negative opinion of each other long before they first worked together in the 1995 drama The Basketball Diaries.
Wahlberg stated that due to an incident at a charity basketball game where he acted badly towards DiCaprio, the latter strongly objected to being together in the movie.
However, their animosity quickly dissipated once they began working together, making the actors realize that their initial judgments were unfounded, and they soon became close friends.
2. Ryan Gosling and Rachel McAdams
It turns out that Gosling and McAdams have a lot in common with their The Notebook characters, Noah Calhoun and Allie Nelson. The on-screen couple, famous for their passionate and complicated story, have found their reflection in the actors' relationship.
According to the film's director, Nick Cassavetes, the beginning of the filming process was extremely tough as the actors did not get along with each other, constantly fighting and arguing.
Gosling even asked to have another actress replace McAdams in one scene because he felt he couldn't work with her.
Eventually, they were able to work out their differences, and the rest of the filming went more smoothly. The actors even began dating and stayed together for a few years after the film's release. The true definition of from enemies to lovers.
3. Lena Headey and Jerome Flynn
The actors starred together in an iconic Game of Thrones show as Cersei Lannister and Bronn. Both characters played on opposite sides and for good reason. Headey and Flynn dated in the early 2000s after meeting in 1999 on Jerome's series Soldier Soldier.
However, their relationship ended in a bitter breakup in 2002, resulting in the couple not even speaking to each other and avoiding scenes together on the show.
4. Wesley Snipes and Ryan Reynolds
According to the anonymous crew member, Snipes not only clashed with director David S. Goyer and tried to strangle him at every opportunity, but he also had problems with co-star Ryan Reynolds. Snipes refused to address Reynolds by name, instead referring to him as "that cracker."
Not surprisingly, when Reynolds was asked if he would consider working with Snipes again in a fourth Blade movie, Reynolds responded with a simple "no" and laughed off the idea. Interesting to see how Blade and Deadpool 's relationship would work out…
5. Dwayne Johnson and Vin Diesel
Although there was speculation that the feud between Vin Diesel and Dwayne Johnson during the filming of The Fate of the Furious was just a publicity stunt, it was later revealed that their animosity was completely genuine.
The conflict began when Johnson criticized the unnamed co-star on social media, calling them a "candya**" who lacked professionalism and courage. We could only guess who he was referring to, but isn't it too obvious?
With Dwayne coming back for the role of Hobbs in the Fast franchise, it would be interesting to see how things work out this time around.
