4 Harry Potter Fan Theories That Are Even Better Than Canon
Four times when Potterheads understood the canon better than JK Rowling herself.
As detailed and elaborate as the world of Harry Potter is, there is always room for interpretation in the story of the boy who lived.
And if some of the theories seem completely insane, others answer many questions that have accumulated while reading and watching the canon, and sometimes even surpass it.
1. Ginny Weasley bewitched Harry
Ginny has been in love with Harry since the very first movies. However, the main character never paid much attention to the girl, considering her just a friend.
Then, in Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, there is an episode where Harry and his friends go to the Weasley brothers' shop where they sell love potions, and at the end of the movie, Harry suddenly gets feelings for Ginny.
Some fans are convinced that Ginny simply bewitched Harry by buying a bottle of potion from Fred and George's shop.
2. Neville was never a bad wizard
From the very first day of training at Hogwarts, Neville had his sights set on the title of worst student of the year. Fans are certain that the problems with his studies began with the fact that Neville used his late father's wand.
As fans know, the wand itself chooses the wizard, not the other way around. After Neville's wand was destroyed in the battle against the Death Eaters, he was finally able to show his full magical potential.
3. Crookshanks once belonged to Lily Evans
JK Rowling once mentioned that Lily Evans had a cat. One fan theory claims that it is Hermione's beloved pet, Crookshanks. The cat lived in a magic shop for many years before meeting his new owner. He quickly found a common language with Sirius, who walked around Hogwarts in the form of a black dog and immediately hated Scabbers.
4. Dementors had a "special" attraction for Harry Potter
One fan theory explains why Harry was so influenced by Dementors' approach. The Dementors had a "special" desire for the wizard and tried to drain as much energy from him as possible.
The fact is that the Dementors felt that Harry was hiding a piece of someone else's soul –Voldemort’s Horcrux. Thus, Harry became the bearer of not one, but 1 and 1/8 souls, which automatically made him more interesting to the guards of Azkaban.
