These characters deserve special attention, even though they have not yet been portrayed on screen.

The following contains spoilers for the Bridgerton novels.

A series of novels by Julia Quinn about the Bridgerton family, consisting of eight brothers and sisters, was published in the early 2000s. There are eight books, one for each main character.

Considering the number of books, it is obvious that in the two seasons of the Neftlix series, viewers have not yet seen all the original characters. This is a list of only the brightest ladies and gentlemen, who will definitely appear in the next seasons.

1. Lucy Abernathy

The love story of Gregory, the youngest of Bridgerton's men, is revealed in the eighth book of On the Way to the Wedding. In the book, Gregory falls in love with a girl named Hermione Watson, who unfortunately is interested in another suitor.

Hoping to win Hermione's affection, Gregory turns to Hermione's friend, Lady Lucinda Abernathy, who is happy to become a matchmaker. As Gregory and Lucy begin to work closely together, they fall in love, but the problem is that Lucy is already engaged.

2. Michael Stirling

Michael Stirling is the brother of the 8th Earl of Kilmartin, Francesca's husband. Two years after the wedding, the Earl suddenly dies. The title passes to Michael, but he is not at all happy about this.

The fact is that all these years Michael was secretly in love with Francesca. To muffle the power of feelings, he leaves for India for 4 years.

Returning, Michael discovers that love has not passed, but has become stronger. Francesca decides to find herself a new husband and Michael decides to take action.

3. Sophie Beckett

Benedict's story is Julia Quinn’s version of Cinderella. A young girl, Sophie Beckett, who dreams of finding her Prince Charming, sneaks into the famous Bridgerton Masquerade Ball.

She ends up spending the night with Benedict, but when the clock strikes midnight, her fairy tale ends and Sophie returns home to her arrogant stepmother.

Since that magical night, Benedict has been determined to find the mysterious woman he danced with.

4. Gareth St. Clair

The illegitimate son of the Baron St. Clair, Gareth has been left homeless and penniless by his father. So he sets out to find the missing family jewels that will bankrupt his father and make him rich.

He needs Hyacinth's help to find the relics. Gareth tells her about an old family journal that he needs help translating. As the two try to figure out what's in the mysterious text, they grow closer and closer.
