You're probably tired of hearing this, but Young Sheldon has done it again – made the canon messier, that is!

The latest episode has just aired, and we are shook by the writers' blatant disregard for The Big Bang Theory 's way of doing things (though we low-key get why they are doing it).

We come bearing news of the top four latest plot holes in A New Weather Girl and a Stay-at-Home Coddler.

4. Missy Is About to Rise Up in Arms

We know from The Big Bang Theory that Missy is supposed to become the loser of the Cooper kids, but six seasons of Young Sheldon have done little to show any of that. Currently, Missy is the least problematic of the three.

A few episodes ago, Missy got her time to shine in her runaway storyline. Unfortunately, it also marked the beginning of her "difficult times."

In the latest episode, Missy has become noticeably angrier and grumpier (especially toward Sheldon), so she is definitely getting worse and closer to the adult version of herself.

While this is not necessarily a plot hole, the change still seems a bit sudden and definitely not a good enough reason for Missy to go dark. Let's see how it all unravels further.

3. Mandy & Georgie's End May Be Near

While we all wish the writers would come up with a clever way for Mandy and Georgie to stay together, they may not end up getting married after all.

In the recent episode, Mandy has decided to apply for a job as a weather girl, and Georgie isn't all that supportive of her, expecting her to stay home with the baby.

He does come through for Mandy in the end, but we still don't know if she got the job. They may have resolved their issues for now, but it looks like Mandy's career might be the thing that splits them up later on.

Plus, Georgie only has a year left to get married at 19, as the canon suggests. If he and Mandy don't tie the knot, he'll have to rush things with another girl to make the deadline…

2. George & Mary's Relationship Is Healed

George is supposed to cheat on Mary, and season 6 has been building up to it more than the show has ever done before.

The couple has just confronted each other, but the latest episode has seen them all better and happier together, with no marital problems in sight.

Sure, George and Mary have united in dealing with Missy's running away and all that, but the fact that they are sleeping in the same bed again and acting as though nothing happened makes absolutely no sense.

We have a feeling that the Young Sheldon writers have decided to go against the TBBT canon and skip the cheating storyline altogether.

Well, that, or it will all happen off-screen, which would also be weird.

1. Sheldon's Summer in Germany Comes Rushing

This plot hole definitely takes the crown. Adult Sheldon recalled his summer program in Germany in The Big Bang Theory, but it supposedly happened when he was 15 (currently he is 13) and when he was already a professor.

Young Sheldon has once again defied the lore by having the titular character go abroad much sooner (and as a fresh graduate who just wants to boost his chances for CalTech).

The math isn't mathing, and moving Sheldon's trip to an earlier time is simply unnecessary. We are getting more and more terrified about what the future holds for Young Sheldon.

Will they go completely against the canon and claim it is an alternate reality (which has been a popular concept in recent years), or will they doom the characters to the fates that have already been established?

We'll have to wait and see!
