Rachel Green is one of the best characters on television to this day, but even she is not perfect.

Here are three things about Rachel that Friends messed up big time.

1. Rachel's Last Name

Rachel's full name is supposed to be Rachel Karen Green. This is how her last name is spelled in all of Warner Bros.'s promo materials, and this is how her parents' last name is spelled in the credits of the earlier episodes.

However, the inner Friends canon begs to differ! Rachel's last name is spelled with an "e" at the end (Greene) both on her invitation to Ross and Emily's wedding and on her door nameplate at Ralph Lauren.

We knew that Rachel had trouble making decisions, but that's a new low even for her!

2. Rachel's Birthday

The Main Six's birthdays are a complete mess, and Rachel is no exception. Throughout the series, May 5 is mentioned several times as her birthday, which would make her a Taurus (fitting).

There is one inconsistency though – in the season 7 episode, The One With Chandler'd Dad, a police officer looks at Rachel's driver's license and notes that she is an Aquarius (meaning that her birthday would be in January or February), and Rachel is in no hurry to correct him.

Did Rachel just not want to anger the guy and get a ticket, or was it another birthday plot hole that Friends is so notorious for?

3. Rachel's Pregnancy

Rachel was pretty cranky at the end of her pregnancy, and now we finally have an explanation – she was pregnant for at least a year!

If we establish that Chandler and Monica got married on May 15, and Rachel and Ross hooked up in the middle of helping out with the wedding invitations, which are usually sent out six to eight weeks in advance, but Rachel forgot to do that on time, baby Emma was conceived in mid-April.

Rachel should've given birth sometime in January, but Emma arrived much later.

The episode itself aired on May 16, 2002, and this was roughly her birth date (judging by the fact that Joey's movie premiere was supposed to be on Memorial Day, and Rachel said that she would've been a week overdue by then). Rachel Green is one super mama!

Still, we love Rachel regardless of the weird facts in her biography.
