This one is some heavy going, but it is so brilliantly written and acted, that it is definitely worth watching if you can handle it. Moon Dong-eun is a survivor of horrific school abuse. Some of the abuse scenes are based on a real event that occurred in 2006 at a middle school in Cheongju, South Korea. Students extorted money from their classmate by beating and burning her, and continued the abuse for about a month. After enduring this torture, the fictionalized version of the real-life victim plots a long and complicated revenge. The first part of her plan? Become a teacher and get a job at the right school. Which school? The one attended by the child of the main bully who put her through her own personal hell. What will Dong-eun do? Logic tells us that she will do something really horrible to the child in her class. But will she go that far? And what will be the ultimate price of her plan for revenge?
