25 Family Guy Deleted Scenes That Were Way Too Much For TV
From racist remarks to murder and violence. Yes, it's all Family Guy.
Created by Seth MacFarlane, Family Guy has been one of the edgiest shows for over twenty years, pushing the boundaries of television ethics to their limits. Unlike The Simpsons and most other animated sitcoms, which also emphasize satire over subtle jokes and references, Family Guy blatantly mocks everything and everyone, and does so in an extremely unapologetic manner.
MacFarlane's show does not try to build its identity on insults, but instead mocks all stereotypes and approaches sensitive topics with humor. However, this does not change the fact that it is sometimes quite controversial, and many of the show's moments proved to be too much to put on the air. Let's take a look at the 25 craziest deleted scenes in Family Guy history.

The Further Future of the Show
These are not the only deleted scenes: every season since at least season four has had dozens, if not hundreds, of deleted scenes that proved too problematic for traditional broadcast television standards. And since the show has no intention of ending, it seems that we are in for no less controversial jokes and deleted scenes as a result.
'At this point, I don't see a good reason to stop. People still love it. It makes people happy and it funds some good causes. It's a lot of extraneous cash that you can donate to Rainforest Trust and you can still go out to dinner that night,' Seth MacFarlane told TV Line.
The upcoming Season 23, due out in the fall of 2024, was announced alongside Season 22, so it's too early to speculate on whether there will be anything beyond that. However, Fox seems to have no intention of giving up on Family Guy, given its consistently high ratings over the years: two holiday specials were recently announced, to be released exclusively on Hulu sometime in 2024.
All twenty-two seasons and specials released to date are available for streaming on Hulu.
