Despite its simple premise - a tight-knit family of crooks and racers who drive fast cars and commit international heists, saving the world from time to time - the "Fast & Furious" franchise is doing better than ever more than 20 years after its inception, as fans still crave high-stakes racing and great CGI as they did back in the early 2000s.

Of course, the Vin Diesel-led franchise has spawned a myriad of imitators eager to cash in on the success of the beloved action saga. Needless to say, most of them at least tried to look original, but they were also the ones that dropped all precautions and jumped right into the world of plagiarism.
