Young Sheldon's Raegan Revord Teases The Most Emotional Missy Moment Yet
She is finally growing up.
Summary:
- Young Sheldon is a CBS sitcom originally created as a prequel to The Big Bang Theory.
- Although Sheldon Cooper is a main character, over the years the focus of the show has shifted to other members of the Cooper family.
- Raegan Revord teases a very emotional moment for her character, Missy Cooper, around episode 5 of the final season.
No matter how much people loved The Big Bang Theory, its prequel, Young Sheldon, somehow managed to up the ante and get even more fans hooked.
Some believe that the story of an average family from mid-90s Texas is more appealing to a broader audience than the journey of young scientists. Others believe that the lack of laugh-out-loud moments and the overall improvement in production quality is to blame for such a wild success.
Either way, Young Sheldon has captured the hearts of many CBS viewers and now has to say a careful goodbye in its final season. Although sason 7 will be shorter than any of the previous seasons, with only 14 episodes to wrap up the story, it promises to be packed with action and emotion.
Missy and Mary Cooper in Young Sheldon Season 7
As much as we know about the Cooper family from the adult version of Sheldon, we also know at this point that he's a very unreliable narrator. So instead of taking the character's word for it, viewers now want to see all the major milestones in the Cooper family's life played out on their screens.
The development of Sheldon's twin sister, Missy, has become one of the most interesting storylines in Young Sheldon. Starting out as a bright and very funny little girl, but constantly overshadowed by her genius brother and sidelined by her own parents, she began to act out as a teenager.
By the finale, fans expect Missy to reconcile with both of her parents, but especially with her mom, who has been harder on her daughter throughout the show. And according to Raegan Revord, who plays Missy on the show, viewers may get exactly what they want as early as episode 5.
First, Revord teased the emotional scene on her tik tok. Then, the actress gave TVLine a little more insight into what to expect.
“I can’t say much, but [the scene] was with Mary… but it’s not what people think it is,” the actress said.
If you have any guesses as to what the scene might be, be sure to tune in to Young Sheldon every Thursday on CBS to see if you are right. And if you feel you need to catch up on the last few seasons before jumping to the seventh, the show is available for streaming on Hulu.
