The God surely didn’t make her this way.

Summary:

  • Young Sheldon is a CBS sitcom that just premiered its 7th and final season.
  • The show's constant antagonist has been Pastor Jeff, who has caused the Coopers many problems over the years.
  • However, the first episode of season 7 proved that his wife, Robin, was even worse.

All good things must come to an end, and Young Sheldon is no exception. Despite the fact that the show has been providing viewers with the most entertaining, funny and touching episodes for the past 6 years, the chronology of events is leading the Cooper family to say goodbye to Sheldon.

Despite the fact that the seventh season of the series will be shorter than the previous ones due to the influence of the WGA and SAG-AFTRA strikes that took place in the middle of last year, it promises to be packed with a multitude of events.

Young Sheldon's creative team faces the challenging task of answering all of the audience's questions and wrapping up all of the characters' storylines while maintaining the series' usual lighthearted tone. Still, they started the season out on a shocking note of introducing yet another villain.

What Happened to Meemaw’s Money?

At this point, none of the viewers had any interest or trust in Pastor Jeff. Despite the fact that he was once quite close to Mary, after her dismissal from the church, the viewers were finally convinced of his evil intentions.

What no one could have expected, however, was that Pastor Jeff would have more honor and humanity than his wife, Robin.

After the tragedy that struck Meemaw’s house at the end of last season, it was clear that the Coopers were in for more difficult times. Although the deconstruction of the house was forced upon the script by external circumstances at the studio, it fit perfectly with the course of events within the series.

Instead of expressing her sympathy for Meemaw and, more importantly, returning the money she found after the destruction, Robin decided to take the opposite position. By declaring that what happened was a direct result of Connie's lifestyle, Robin went down the dangerous path of justifying any of her own sins with God's purpose.

Despite the fact that Jeff said that the money must be returned and also promised Connie that he would not leave her without an income, fans fear that Robin will ruin those plans and leave the woman penniless. Not only would that mean that Meemaw will never be able to afford to rebuild the house, but she may as well be left with no means to survival.

If you are hooked and want to see what happens next, make sure to tune in to CBS every Thursday to not miss a single new Young Sheldon episode.
