Clouds continue to gather over Yellowstone as the future of the project is still unknown.

Well, looks like a ray of light named Keanu Reeves can help bring hope back to the show.

Rumors continue to circulate that Kevin Costner may leave Yellowstone after the fifth season due to scheduling conflicts with filming of his own western, Horizon.

Amid these reports, even the end of the show and the start of the Yellowstone spin-off with Matthew McConaughey have been discussed.

Although the future of the western remains unclear, the fact that the release of the second half of the fifth season has been postponed from summer to fall is making fans nervous.

However, Keanu Reeves is there to cheer everyone up again. In a recent interview with ET Canada, the actor was asked if he would enjoy playing an unexpected role in a show like Yellowstone.

"I'd love to do a western, so yeah. Yeah, sure." Keanu said.

This little comment made the fans go into full crazy mode. The vast majority is in agreement that it would be a stunning cameo, and Keanu would be a perfect fit for the show's setting.

The character of Keanu Reeves could be a complete stranger who came to Montana with his own mysterious agenda, and his potential confrontation with Kevin Costner could have people glued to their screens.

Now that Keanu has expressed his readiness for such an endeavour, it all depends on the entrepreneurial spirit of the Yellowstone creators.

Although a short comment in an interview is a far cry from a contract signing, there is hope among fans that the words will evolve into something more.
