Yellowstone's Beth Dutton Actress Drops a Worrisome Hint About Series Finale
Taylor Sheridan's show has been through some drama, but it's still set to go our with a bang. At least that's what we're all hoping for.
Season 5 has been rough to Yellowstone. With only one half of the season released, the series was shaken by the behind-the-scenes drama between the show's creator, Taylor Sheridan, and his lead actor, Kevin Costner, who has officially bowed out as John Dutton.
After the tumultuous several weeks, it was announced that not only will Costner be leaving the show, but season 5 will also mark the series finale, even though initial plans for the Dutton ranch saga were clearly different.
Now that fans are biting their nails and waiting for season 5 finale, Kelly Reilly, who portrays Yellowstone's most badass femme fatale Beth Dutton, has provided them with even more reasons to be nervous.
"It will probably be beautiful and epic, I'm not sure it will be happy," the actress said in a featurette that appears on the Blu-ray and DVD release of the first part of Yellowstone's fifth season.
She quickly added it was only her own prediction, since she doesn't have "any insight into what’s going to happen."
"We’re all sort of beholden to the vision of the storyteller and we serve the story. Who knows what’s going to happen? I find that exciting as an actor," Reilly said.
But the hint that Yellowstone's final ride might not be the long-awaited happily-ever-after has been dropped anyway, causing stir in the fandom. Another disappointment for fans is that the second part of the final season has not even been filmed yet due to the ongoing writers and actors strike.
The premiere date of Yellowstone season 5 part 2 remains unknown.
