Will Tobey Maguire Appear In 'Doctor Strange 2'? Possible Cameo Explained
Upcoming 'Doctor Strange in the Universe of Madness' is believed to feature a multitude of cameos, given Steven Strange's travels through the Multiverse.
But will Tobey Maguire 's Spider-Man appear in the MCU for the second time?
According to Sean O'Connell, known for his reliable information on all things Spider-Man, Maguire's return is probably out of the question. 'Doctor Strange 2' was scheduled to premiere long before 'Spider-Man: No Way Home', so Marvel wasn't going to spoil Spidey's reunion before the film's release.
However, recent news of mandatory 'Dr. Strange 2' reshoots might serve just that purpose – to fit Maguire into the film. It's hard to say yet, given that there's no official confirmation from Marvel executives (and, knowing Marvel, there won't be any), but the Sam Raimi & Toby Maguire reunion would be a great moment for the MCU.
But fans don't really want to see Maguire in another Marvel movie, claiming there's no real reason for that.
Some people are just tired of Spider-Man and simply want to see a Doctor Strange movie.
