Deric Augustine and Patrick Keleher have been cast as recurring characters for the seventh season of the show. However, if audiences like the way they fit into an entire group, chances are the show may bump them up to series regulars.
Augustine will play Miles, who isn't exactly the inexperienced rookie we're used to seeing. Miles has two years of experience as a police officer in Texas, but he is new to Los Angeles, hence the status. Keheler's Seth, on the other hand, is a true rookie who fits the role of a cop perfectly, but lacks some confidence.
Both additions are sure to shake things up at the station and add to John Nolan's list of never-ending worries.
When Will The Rookie Season 7 Premiere?
While the show is definitely coming back, there is no specific release date. In fact, the loyal fans of the show will have to wait longer than expected to get a glimpse of the first episode, as The Rookie will premiere in the midseason of 2024/25, unlike many other ABC titles.
