With the release of 'Diabolical', 'The Boys' has finally become a full-fledged franchise for Amazon. Animated anthology series premiered last month and made at least one new character famous – Ghost Supe.

The show's second episode, aptly titled 'An Animated Short Where Pissed Off Supes Kill Their Parents', introduced viewers to Ghost, a teenager with a non-corporeal body, capable of passing through walls and gliding in the air. She also can't eat, she can't be touched, and so on.

Ghost and the other teenagers were placed in a special foster home, where after a while they began to rebel and brutally kill people, trying to get revenge on their parents for sending them there. Episode ends with Homelander arriving, slicing them up with his laser eyes. Yep, as you may have guessed – they pass right through the Ghost. In the last moments we saw Ghost promising to avenge her friends and kill her evil mother. But will she return to fulfill that promise?

The showrunner of the original series, Eric Kripke, added intrigue by telling Variety that there indeed is a surprising connection between the 'Ghost' episode and the third season of 'The Boys '. Kripke didn't say what the connection was, but given that all the other characters except Homelander and Ghost are dead, it's pretty easy to conclude that she'll probably be back for more, possibly joining the Boys in their attempt to kill the leader of the Seven.

'The Boys' season 3 arrives June 3, 2022 on Amazon Prime.
